Triad believes that athletics are an extension of our educational and spiritual mission. We aspire to provide an education grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ; ultimately, to prepare Christian Warriors to make their way in the world. Through our athletics program, we educate the mind, spirit and body. In addition to the physical benefits of athletics, we are most concerned with instilling the values of teamwork, discipline, commitment and sportsmanship. When those activities are competitive, our students also learn the value of humility, how to carry themselves when they win and lose, and how to be strong in the face of adversity. These are values we believe all young people need to become good citizens and strong Christian leaders. As a testament to the success of our well-rounded offerings, our school was awarded the Oregonian Cup in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. This award recognizes schools for success in academics, character and athletic competition – or as we like to think of it, mind, spirit, and body.
