Triad students are challenged throughout their academic journey. From preschool through high school, a robust set of learning methods prepare students in the basic areas of reading, writing and arithmetic, and further strengthen our students’ minds in the areas of critical thinking, problem solving, communication and Christ-centered ethics. Cutting edge pedagogical techniques are favored over the traditional lecture-read-test model of education. Beginning in early grades, students learn through hands-on activities, group projects, multimedia presentations and discussion, much of which is designed to use the power of technology. This opens doors for new methods of finding, validating and preparing information, and also prepares our students for their future experiences in college and the workplace. Triad’s college preparatory setting encourages high achievement in academics so that upon graduation, students are prepared to enter the college of their choice. The foundation of Triad’s model throughout the educational journey is rigorous study in math, science, literature and the arts. In addition, Triad juniors and seniors receive focused instruction in college admission skills. Although students are challenged with high academic standards, the Triad model ensures that students don’t get left behind. Small class sizes and capable, qualified and approachable teachers provide plenty of opportunity for individual attention when necessary.
