Why I Love Triad

I love the interaction between the elementary and the upper grades. The younger kids get encouragement from the older kids and have positive role models, whereas the older kids grow in patience and tenderness.

I like the smaller class sizes and the more individualized attention it creates. The teachers truly do know my kids and their abilities. They care about them, and they pray for them. I love that the Triad students are generally respectful and courteous toward adults and each other. This allows the teachers to teach instead of having to spend a lot of time on discipline. I think Triad’s music program is outstanding. Two talented and dedicated teachers strive to instill a love of music in the elementary and foster a sense of pride in performing well in the upper grades. I like that students wear uniforms. Behavior often follows one’s appearance.

I am a big fan of Triad. The school offers caring teachers, small classes, a college-oriented curriculum, and many opportunities to develop individual interests and talents, all within a fun, safe, love-centered environment. My first-grader, in a class of just 17, has quickly improved her reading, spelling, and music skills thanks to a full-time teacher, full-time aide, certified music instructor, and parent volunteers. For math, one of her strengths, she gets to learn with the second-graders. Meanwhile, my middle-schooler is immersed in stimulating core courses, playing the saxophone, anticipating the school play, and joyfully engaged in two electives, martial arts and choir. She had eight electives to choose from, an impressive number for a school this size. I feel so blessed that my precious daughters attend a Christian school, one that nurtures their individuality, and teaches them to think and act creatively, compassionately, and skillfully.

Lori Burns Quote

Triad is a school where no matter who you are, you will be accepted. Triad has high standards, and pushes you to do the best you can do, not only in academics, but sports and music. Being a Triad student I have not only improved in my school work, but I have come closer to God at the same time. Being in an environment where you can pray and worship God freely really does change the hearts of everyone here. Being able to come to a school where everyone feels like family really is a blessing. Triad has made a huge impact on my life and hopefully it will on many others lives as well.

test quote 6

My son is a 6th grader at Triad school, and he loves his teachers and friends at school. I am very pleased with the challenging and structural academic curriculum offered at Triad. Students are working above grade level and get the assistance they need to be successful. Everyone from the staff to the teacher focuses on creating a positive learning environment for the children. The teachers have the highest training, skill and dedication in teaching. The music and sport programs are extensive, and well-recognized throughout the state. Thanks to the principal, teachers and staff for making the school such a special place.
